Does anyone have any ideas on issues or things that relate to feminist issues that should be brought to people’s awareness?

If so let me know - I need some ideas for the next issue of the zine!

Cherry Bomb, Rocket Queen, a megaphone for my generation.

My compassion is as soft as a sparrow’s wings,

Refusing to swallow the artificial sweetener society tries to shove down my throat.

I will not let my uterus be a hindrance.

My heart breaks for the girls who are

hurting

burning

crying

dying

overdosing

numbing

And I will fight for them until my death.

I don’t care who you are

I will not tolerate your abuse.

My essence is gentle as a lamb,

But I road and scream at the one’s that tell my generation to be

thin

popular

sexy

perfect

pretty

rich

bitchy

Everything but who you really are.

They come around you and try to strip you of your personality,

Shove you naked into a group where everyone wants to belong

But no one ever really will.

Stand strong and fight back

And hold your head high when they spit your name.

You are perfect to me.
